Learning through nature

Over the years, I have developed various tools and methods for nature-based learning. Inspired by forest schools (English method), the engaged pedagogy of bell hooks, popular education (Paulo Freire), social permaculture, and my teacher training in yin and kundalini yoga, I often say that I don't educate, but rather create co-learning experiences, judgment-free spaces, and collective adventures.

A graduate of the Université de Montréal's Micro-Program in Postsecondary Education, I also learned the scientific foundations of motivation, attention, and memory. This knowledge is seamlessly integrated into the experiences I facilitate for Cœur d'épinette or in my teaching, and from which I learn as much as the other participants.
