Tailor-made training

Two training courses are regularly offered, and over the course of my career, I have created several tailor-made ones.

Here are the two courses and their content:

1- Urban Tree Planting:

Offered in person or via videoconference, this participatory training aims to provide an overview of the basics of urban tree planting and to find solutions to the pitfalls it can generate. It also explores new planting methods that promote soil vitality, combat climate change, biodiversity, and food security. This training is updated annually based on new research and observations.

2- Woody Plant Pruning

The woody plant pruning training provides an opportunity to familiarize yourself with pruning trees and shrubs in urban environments. Analyzing shrubs and trees based on their pruning needs allows us to understand several fundamental elements such as their physiology, their various needs (light, water, fertilizer, soil type), and the specific characteristics of their structure. In keeping with Cœur d'épinette's mission of arboriculture without chainsaws, the training focuses on observation and offers strategies for pruning as little as possible in both the short and long term. The training is divided into two parts: a theoretical part and a practical part, ideally on land provided by the applicant.
