Conferences in CEGEPs for the Elisabeth-Bruyère School of Social Innovation

I'm offering two free lectures for CEGEPs under the auspices of the Élisabeth Bruyère School of Social Innovation, where I'm a part-time professor. To book a lecture, contact the School of Social Innovation.

The Lectures

Ecofeminisms 101

From women hugging trees in Himalayan forests to Starhawk's magical rituals in permaculture gardens: ecofeminism is plural, vibrant, and resolutely committed to a more just world, free from the multiple oppressions that harm nature and women. This lecture is a journey through various ecofeminist movements where thinkers, farmers, and witches around the world are waging both personal and political struggles.

Creating a socio-ecological transition project: here's how I do it!

This conference focuses on the journey of creating a socio-ecological transition project, drawing primarily on the foundations and mission of my own project, Cœur d’épinette. Through the important notions of accessibility, environmental justice, connection to nature, and belonging, I will discuss local initiatives and projects imagined by students in the Social Innovation program at Saint-Paul University during the Ecology and Environmental Justice course.

Cœur d'épinette uses only the decentralized, non-fascist social network bluesky:
